Crystal Khalil is a philanthropist and inspirational leader that serves as the first African American executive for Porsche AG, as Director of the local Procurement division of Porsche Cars North America. With over 28 years of Procurement experience, she oversees all indirect purchasing activity for Porsche’s North American subsidiaries and affiliates, while inspiring strategic growth, purposeful change, and innovative thinking within the organization. She serves with integrity, purpose and compassion.
Crystal began her Porsche career as an Inventory Planner in 2001 and a Senior Buyer in 2007. Shortly after that, she joined Coca-Cola Enterprise as a Senior Procurement Specialist, Professional Services, and Manager, Procurement – Travel, further deepening her industry knowledge for procurement. In 2011, she returned to Porsche as Manager of Procurement, and organically propelled her career on the foundation of cultivating authentic connections, while remaining consistent in providing exceptional performance as a business professional.
She currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors for Caring For Others, an internationally recognized nonprofit organization that gives a voice to the faces of poverty, and Co-Founder and Chair of the Board of D.I.V.A.S. In Training, a girls mentoring and leadership program. She is also an active volunteer and former steering committee member of Porsche Cares, the philanthropic arm of Porsche Cars North America.
Crystal’s desire to help others achieve their highest potential led to the release of her debut, best-selling book in 2019, “Hard workers Workers Work Hard, And Networkers Move Up!”
She was previously recognized as 2016 Woman on the Ryse, and 2019 Top 25 Women In Power Impacting Diversityby Diversity Plus Magazine. Crystal featured as a speaker for ProcureCon(2017), the National Association of Women Business Owners Conference (2018), Zycus Confluence (2018), Women’s Entrepreneurial Opportunities Project(2018), the Forbes IDEA Summit (2018),Institute of Supply Management (2019), and Women Elevating Women(2019).
Crystal is a proud first generation professional. She received a Master of Science, Business Administration degree from Central Michigan University.
